No Runs, No Drips, No Errors…

Yesterday, we painted…

Or, more accurately, the band painted. All of the members of the band turned out early yesterday morning to apply paint to the living room, dining room, kitchen, powder room and stairwell of our home. And, we had a good time doing it.

There’s no way for us to properly express our gratitude for their help. But, there’s just no way that Donna and I could have accomplished the task ourselves in the time available.

Of course, there’s still touch-up work to do — some of my painstakingly painted woodwork got clobbered, and there are a couple of spots that got missed. And, there’s still the red wall of the dining room that needs more paint. And, the backside of the banister in the dining room. But that’s minimal when compared to the entire task.

We can breathe a little easier now.
