Hi, folks. It’s going to be pretty quiet here while we (mostly I) get caught up. Here’s a very short update:
We had a great time on the honeymoon. Pictures will follow. Soon. We promise.
I’m working double at the TV station this week, and probably (hopefully) into next, as some of the production people are on [...]

One of the reasons for adding the adverts is that this site is a test bed [...]

Tonight brings another meeting of the CMPG, and tonight we’ll be talking about the images from our latest photo assignment - Alphabet. This is my offering. I happened across this tree along the side of US Rte 50, while we were on the way to visit my parents a few weeks back.
I about scared the [...]
DSL has arrived here, several hours earlier than expected. Verizon had our “on” time scheduled for 6PM today, but, as of 8AM today, a recorded message from none other than James Earl Jones proclaimed that our DSL service was ready. By 9:30AM, I had my WindowsXP box and my Mac-running-Linux on line.
Installation went without a [...]

The Electronic Frontier Foundation has put together an excellent legal guide for Bloggers:
Whether you’re a newly minted blogger or a relative old-timer, you’ve been seeing more and more stories pop up every day about bloggers getting in trouble for what they post.
Like all journalists and publishers, bloggers sometimes publish information that other people don’t [...]
