Battlestar Friday

Well, yes, I know that’s one of Will’s titles. But, last night, I finally got a viewable version of the pilot miniseries. We sat down, just planning to rest for a couple of minutes and check to make sure that my crappy DVD player would play the silly thing back. An hour later…

I missed the pilot when it originally aired, and struggled with the first couple of episodes. However, I really got sucked into the pilot. I think that if I’d seen the pilot episodes originally, I’d've been as hooked as other folks I know. So, now it’s Battlestar Friday for me, too! Problem is, band practice is Friday nights (unless there’s a gig), so it looks like I’ll be watching the new season on “tape delay” … bummer, as my friends will be getting to see it well before I do!

I wonder if I can get into the TV station on Saturdays. If so, I’ll schedule the DVR there to record the show, and burn myself a DVD! Hmm…
