Black Vote

As you know, I usually do not cover anything of political nature here.

But, I heard an interesting story on CNN Headline News this morning. It seems that blacks could conceivably lose the right to vote in 2007. That’s because the act originally passed in 1965, and extended in 1982, does not make voting rights for black permanent.

Interesting.

So, now’s the time to do something about it. I would encourage you to contact your congressional and senatorial representatives, and suggest that they enact legislation making the black vote permanent.
