‘A Picture’s Worth’ Returns

via e-mail

I received the following e-mail today from David Chin, site owner of A Pictures Worth:

Dear Geren,

Hello! It’s David Chin from ‘A Picture’s Worth’ (at http://1000words.net) and I hope that you have been well.

I have been overwhelmed by the e-mails of support that I continue to receive since the site gradually stopped showing new content since May this year. As much as I loved the site and wanted to keep it going, ‘A Picture’s Worth’ disappeared from my mind as I went through difficult times. Thank you very much to those who sent emails in the past six months (I have not responded to them all but promise to); rest assured that your emails constantly reminded me of what ‘A Picture’s Worth’ means to other people as well as myself and inspired me to get it running again. ‘A Picture’s Worth’ has been a significant source of joy for me.

I hope to start showing new content from the 1st of October 2005 as this will give me enough time to reacquaint myself with ‘A Picture’s Worth’ (as well as October being my favourite month of the year!). Please spread the word to those who you think might be interested as this might bring back past visitors, particularly the regulars and those in the mailing list who have changed email addresses.

See you soon and let me know if you have any questions. Sorry for the absence.

Regards,
David Chin
