Yesterday, I registered the domain orchard-studios.com for our Orchard Studios photographic adventure. There’s nothing on the site yet, but that will [have to] change in the next week, along with getting much done for our first upcoming show of the holiday season. This article brings up an interesting thought — that focusing and then recomposing a shot will cause the picture to be out of focus. I’m not sure I entirely agree.
The article is specifically geared at auto-focus cameras, but, lenses are still lenses, and the film (or sensor) plane is still the film plane. “Back [...]
