I stumbled upon this new theme while doing some updates to the On30Guy web site over at Wordpress.com. It’s a good deal more customizable (and more easily customized) than most, and it plays reasonably well with the galleries (which, you may notice, are missing — they’ll be back before the day’s out). I should have [...]
Here we go … again!
It’s another Wednesday morning her a the Mortensen mansion, and yet another flat tire on the Cavvie. This is the car, BTW, that needs almost $1K worth of fuel injector work (that it’s not getting — the damned thing isn’t even worth more than $2K in excellent shape — which it’s [...]
Just about the time I thought I had those RSS feeds on the Aggregations page straight, Rob went and reinvented his wheel again. Now, he’s added a photoblog and a metablog. On top of that, he’s got a flickr photostream.

I’ve added feeds for Rob’s Kitchen Kinesis, Turbonerd and My Big Ol’ Soapbox sites. And, I’ve added btezra to my contacts at flickr. His latest images are [...]
Visit Rob’s new cooking site.

As I mentioned the other day, I’ve switched all of my e-mail to Gmail.
As I get the hang of Gmail’s storage and organizational methods, I like it more and more! Threaded messages are stored as “conversations,” and those with the most recent activity bubble to the top. Others drift down the list as [...]
They say the camera never lies. But the truth is, it’s the print that never lies. The camera itself can lie like the biggest of dogs.
Being able to print an 11×14 in house is awesome. But it’s amazing how a print can look really, really crisp on screen or as an 8×10. But pump that [...]
