Bad Boy and the LUMIX DMC-LZ2
I was a bad boy yesterday. I went into the local CompUSA for a package of DVD+R media, and came away with a new digital camera.
I’ve been wanting a fairly decent point-n-shoot digital for a while now. It’s nice to be able to “carry,” while not having to lug around the whole “kit.” Anyway, this little guy sports a 5MP sensor, 6X optical zoom and 2″ display in a pocketable form factor. While it’s not the most fantastic camera on the planet, it certainly ain’t bad for $159.99!
More poop on the DMC-Lz2 can be found here.

This is a review of the camera. It sounds nice for the price and I might have to buy one. Thanks

Scott,
It’s not bad. The pictures are sharp, and it’s pretty quick to use. As long as you’re aware of its limitations, it’ll make you pretty happy. In other words, this camera takes high quality pictures, without any real frills. My only real disappointment is the limited depth of field. It only knows about four aperture settings, and none of them are particularly small.
whoa. frugal even!
Frugal would have been walking away ….
