Red Tulips #1
I took this with the Lumix a little while ago, and did a little tweaking to it in Picasa. I got the tulips for Donna for Valentine’s Day, and they’ve been sitting on the kitchen table, backlit, since. I exposed for the flowers, then blew the highlights out in Picasa, and added the glow and soft-focus effects.

i LOVE the effect of the backlighting and the glow! the leaves are transparent, and the edges are blown-out to a very soft effect. beautiful!
