Old Friends
I received a note, via the contact form on the site, from my old friend Mike Morucci reminding me of the my 25th high school reunion that I’m not going to be able to attend. I was happy to hear from Mike, even though the note was specifically about the reunion. Anyway, it turns out he’s got a[n infrequent] blog up over on blogspot.com.
[That reminds me .... I've got to get a subdomain opened up for my father's site. Stay tuned for that one. Should be interesting ....]

A Day in the Life....

wow. your dad wants a site?
yeah, we talked about it briefly when I was down there monday. he’s got a great concept for it, too. who knows how much he’ll actually update it, but … at least it will get him writing again.
Geren, does a “site” cost money???
Thom,
It depends. I pay for my own space, which allows me to store files and create multiple sites, host my own e-mail, etc. That said, there’s also a lot of setting up that has to be done to keep all this running. If what you want is a simple “blog” type site, you can get a free site at places like wordpress.com or blogger.com. Either will allow you to link in pictures from your flickr photostream.
Thanks ………I’ll check into it.
