DIY Ring Light

Let us know if you try it. How’s it going with that small soft box? I saw a pro one on a video camera. I think it was a Chimera.
I’ll let you know if I try it (I probably will — it’s just a matter of having time to fool with it). I’ve got a couple of ideas for that, one of which is an always-on ring-light that uses high intensity LEDs so it doesn’t generate much in the way of heat.
I haven’t fooled with the softbox thing yet, either. What a really want is a “brella-box” or two. They’re not that expensive on eBay. It’s just a matter of prioritizing. The two shoot-through umbrellas I have have been working fine.
