Just as I was getting ready to leave for work, I spied a beautiful little chickadee at the bird feeder! Then another showed up…and another! Yay! I think they’re gorgeous little birds, and have been hoping upon hope we’d get some. Hope fulfilled & i’m happy!

Well, after two days in the shop, our van is back. It cost us what would be considered a decent down payment on that used Kia they had on the lot, but this way, we’re not locked into 60 months of payments.

it’s not likely lymphoma. there’s another type of cancer typical of the location of the tumor and the symptoms Smokey’s displaying. that requires a visit to the kitty oncologist, but apparently it’s not a pervasive cancer — usually just open up the kitty, remove the tumor, close up, and that’s usually the end of it. [...]
