Maine Pictures on Flickr
I finally got around to uploading a few pictures from our Maine trip to my flickr site. There are only a few there so far, and probably none from the original postings here.
Most of these are posted because I took them with my Tokina 12-24mm lens, and my friend Thom and I have been discussing the lens in e-mail today — he’s looking for a good wide-angle zoom for his D200. I pointed him to some examples that I already had uploaded, which is when I realized that I hadn’t put any Maine pictures up (the Maine pictures have been added to the Tokina 12-24 set, too).
Anyway, I recommended the lens pretty highly, and, of course, suggested that he buy it at Penn Camera.
The picture above was taken in Acadia National Park. We only had one day there, and, in reality, the whole week could have been spent there!
Next time we visit Maine, though, I don’t think we’re going to have time to get out that way at all. About as close as we’ll get will be to Bath, as we’ll be in Portland for a convention. At least, that’s the plan.
