Come on in, the water’s fine!

These little beasties are some of the first inhabitants of our new aquarium. In all, there are six of them. These are tiger barbs, and damned if they don’t swim real fast!

They also look amazingly lost in their new surroundings. Of course, they’re at best a whopping inch long, living alone, for now, in a 25 gallon tank! It’ll be at least another couple of weeks before anyone else moves in, except maybe a couple of small Leopard or Spotted Cory Cats.

Of 36 shots, that’s the one that’s closest to being usable!

I will: two SB-600 flashes from above, and the SB-800 on the camera in commander-only mode. The SB-600’s should light the tank fine, and I’ll have full TTL auto-exposure. For tonight, I just wanted a quick snapshot.
