Seminar Success

The Strobist seminar seemed to be a great success. There were no disasters at the door because of the last minute cancellations and seat swaps, and there were only two no-shows. A couple of folks did bail out early, I presume to watch the Ravens/Colts game. From what I know of the game, they really should have just stayed at the seminar.

Our presenter, David Hobby, was great! Not only does he really know his subject, he knows how to get complex points across in a manner that doesn’t put you to sleep. I know I learned a good deal from the seminar. At some point, I’m probably going to want to get some older flashes and radio triggers to augment our current flash setup.

There were a few things that we (meaning the CMPG) could have done a little better, but, this being our first large-scale seminar, I’d say we did a great job of putting things on. Toot Toot!
