Ooops … Gotta Watch Those Upgrades!
Looks like when I updated to WordPress 2.0.7, some of the functionality of the “Calendar” page and the “Coming Up” section of the sidebar broke — something I didn’t discover until Thom commented that he didn’t know from the site about the George Lepp talk yesterday until way too late. I then commented that it was in the coming up listings.
This morning, when I went to take a look at today’s listing for the events (which won’t make it to the main page until 9AM), I got a 404 page. Uh-oh. It seems that upgrading WP broke the calendar plug-in. Fortunately, there’s a function that I can turn on that allows most old stuff to work.

I’d recommend you upgrade to 2.1 and then fix it, Geren, rather than risk having to fix things twice.
Some of the changes in 2.1 will require significant re-coding of the theme I’m using. I have to evaluate all of those changes, plus any other plug-in that may break, before I upgrade to 2.1. All I had to do to fix this minor annoyance was to enable the myhacks patch.
