Life Before Battlestar Galactica
So, what were some of our favorite Battlestar Galactica characters doing before the show?
Here’s actress Grace Park circa 2005 in an image by Antoine Verglas, a photographer who is fairly well known in commercial photography circles.
Here’s Grace’s “bio” from the SciFi site:
In just a few short years, Grace Park has managed to rack up an impressive list of credits, including the feature Romeo Must Die, the telefilm L.A. Law: The Movie and the popular CBC teen series Edgemont, in which she played Shannon Ng in the ensemble cast. She has appeared on such series as Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, The Outer Limits, Dark Angel, The Immortal (in which she played the recurring role of Mikiko) and the SCI FI Original Series Stargate SG-1 (”Proving Ground”). She holds a degree in psychology and speaks English and Korean, along with some French and Cantonese. Currently, she is studying Spanish.

I certainly am a great fan of Grace’s. She is an extrordinarily gifted actor with eyes that communicate more than most actors do with their entire bodies. I do hope she lasts out season 4 in BSG. If she is the character they kill off, I’ll probably quit watching!
She seems to be a little too self-deprecating about her work on the series and it’s ” cult ” following. The show is serious and has something to say about alues, goodness, life, death, immortality and eternity few shows ever approach. It can also be a little soap operish at times. Oh well, nothing is perfect but BSG is awesome and Parks makes it so.
