This Has Been Driving Me Crazy…
…But, I finally figured it out.
See, I have this problem, of sorts — once I see a face, I never forget it.
You all seen the new e-Harmony commercials. You know, the “bad first date” series. Specifically, the one with Apollonia Kotero as one of the goofy girls. Yeah, that’s Apollonia, Prince’s hottie in Purple Rain. Well, later in the commercial, there’s this weird blonde chick with the headband thing going on, and it’s been driving me nuts, ’cause I’ve seen her before in some movie. And, I couldn’t place it. Just a few minutes ago, it hit me. It’s another girl from Purple Rain, one of the waitresses in the club where Prince’s and Morris Day’s bands do a lot of their shows.
Now, what the heck is that chicks name …

The pic is a nick of a nick. I found it on some MySpace account. If I find an original, I’ll replace it and credit it.
What I’ll most likely do is do a couple of screen grabs from video — once I have the commercial in a file somewhere.

I dunno, but IMDB probably does. Yea, I know, that would be cheating.
btw, Morris Day lives in a neighborhood not too far from me, and is even doing some tv ads for a local (car?) company. “What Time is it?” then something about “time to buy a new car at xyz” or whatever.

That’s pretty cool. I share e-mails with Wendy and Lisa from Prince’s old band every once in a while. They’re out in LA, of course, or were.
