Ren Fest Fun

Donna and I spent most of yesterday back at the Renaissance Festival. I always enjoy the entertainment, but, as much or more, I enjoy watching (and trying to figure out) the people.

This guy looked like he was trying to make some kind of statement. I found it to be a bit ironic — cancer-stick hanging out of his mouth and a gas mask on his head. LOL! I bet he didn’t even realize the message he was sending.

We also got to see the Mediaeval Baebes again, and this time, they brought their own engineer. MUCH BETTER! The sound on Sunday was pretty much what the Baebes are supposed to sound like!

We also discovered Albannach, a real man’s pipe and drum band. All of the band members are from Scotland, and if you can figure a way to go see them, it’s definitely worth it. They’re wrapping up their current U.S. tour with a stop in Raliegh, NC on Wednesday before heading back to Scotland.
