Persian!
When we were in Virginia last Friday, we ended up having dinner at a little Persian restaurant near our hotel. It was a rare treat: I got to order directly from the menu, with no modifications required for my gluten-free diet! COOL!
So, tonight at Borders I picked up a Persian cookbook. A trip to the nearest Persian market (I know of two within fewer than 10 miles from home) for a few ingredients and I should be all set.
It seems that I’m falling further and further behind on housework as I spend more and more time cooking to create gluten-free foods, especially since I’ve begun baking my own scones and now even breadsticks. So as I was whipping up a batch of jambalaya a couple of nights ago, I asked Geren what I used to do with my time - before I spent it all cooking.
He answered in one word: “Laundry.”
